One of the country’s leading legal sports betting providers has pre-launched in Arizona. And DraftKings Sportsbook is ready to hand out bonus bets as a reward for new customers.
After obtaining a license from the Arizona Department of Gaming, DraftKings launched its mobile betting app in the state Saturday. Now, bettors in the Grand Canyon State can sign up for and fund their online accounts.
While they can’t place any bets until the state launches regulated wagering Sept. 9, new users can claim a sign-up bonus from DraftKings to jumpstart their play.
DraftKings Arizona offering $150 in bonus bets
Partner of TPC Scottsdale, where it intends to open a retail sportsbook, DraftKings Arizona looks to build its customer base in the Southwest.
As a way to do just that, the operator will hand out $150 in bonus bets just for signing up. This offer is only available for new users of DraftKings. And the bonus will expire after seven days.
When customers register their accounts, they may not see the credit pop up right away. DraftKings will pay out the bonus bets once Arizona sports betting goes live Sept. 9, just in time for users to use those bonuses on NFL betting when the season kicks off that night.
How to sign up with DraftKings Arizona
Taking advantage of the DraftKings sign-up offer requires little time and effort on the part of bettors.
By providing a few key pieces of personal information, customers can register their new accounts and be on their way. This info helps DraftKings, available on iOS and Android, verify customers’ ages and identities to determine if they’re eligible to participate in regulated wagering.
What information do customers need to submit?
- Full legal name
- Date of birth
- Last four digits of Social Security number
- Residential address
- Email address
After agreeing to the DraftKings terms and conditions, just like that, users will complete the sign-up process. And as a result, DraftKings will begin processing the bonus $150 bonus.
Users do not need to be physically in Arizona in order to sign up or fund their accounts. But once legal betting launches Sept. 9, bettors will need to be located within state lines.
