Wild Horse Pass Suns Themed Room

If you’re a fan of the Phoenix Suns basketball team, Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino just might be heaven on earth.

Or at least heaven in Arizona.

As the official sponsor of the 2021 Western Conference champs, the Gila River hotel group recently unveiled a brand new Suns-themed room in Chandler.

Not a bad way to celebrate one of the best seasons in franchise history, right? Especially during the NBA Finals.

Wild Horse room catering to Suns fanatics

Those looking for a truly unique Phoenix Suns fan experience will find it at Wild Horse.

Apart from obviously being decked out in Suns branding and colors, visitors will notice things like memorabilia, signed jerseys and portions of the original arena floorboard. The room is so chock full of Suns goodness that guests will surely spot more things the longer they stay.

One of the coolest features, though, is measuring up against Stars past and present. A wall mural allows fans to compare their heights with the likes of Devin Booker and Steve Nash.

Like the rest of Arizona, Wild Horse Pass has been on a huge Suns kick since the team began to experience success over the past season-plus.

Besides the themed room, there are many other Suns elements that can be found throughout the casino. That includes team-branded table games in all three Gila River casinos. The company also recently began offering loyalty cards for frequent players with the Suns logo adorned on them.

If you do book the room, you’ll also receive a trademark orange rally towel seen in the stands during games.

Newly redone and booking now

When Gila River Hotels & Casino became an official sponsor of the Phoenix Suns in 2020, the group decided to commemorate the deal by totally refurbishing one of their luxury accomodations to make it a mecca for Suns fans.

Since first unveiling the room in November 2020, it has grown in popularity. No doubt this occurred as the Suns started making building toward their unlikely trip to the NBA Finals this season.

Luckily for fans, a quick check on the hotel group’s website still shows reservations available, starting at about $130 during the middle of the week. The room is equipped with a king bed, with an option for an additional rollaway bed for one more person.

The hotel is currently undergoing extensive renovations, with a gorgeous new landscape and an entirely new tower soon to come.

Gila River adds Suns to other sports-themed rooms

Unable to book the Suns room? Maybe you’ll settle for one featuring themes of other Arizona pro teams.

Apart from the NBA-focused setup, Wild Horse also features rooms dedicated to the Arizona Diamondbacks of the MLB, the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL, as well as the Arizona Coyotes of the NHL.

These rooms also feature team-specific designs, memorabilia and a whole lot more. Reserve any room at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel, located just south of Phoenix. Prices for all of the themed rooms are comparable.
