Arizona' Ak-Chin casino will host Wheel of Fortune Live

During the first week of November, residents of Maricopa, AZ will get the chance to spin the wheel and win big prizes.

Wheel of Fortune Live! will premiere at Arizona casino, Harrah’s Ak-Chin, on Nov. 4-5.

About Wheel of Fortune LIVE!

Wheel of Fortune has the trademark of ‘America’s Game,’ and is filmed at Sony Picture Studios in Culver City, California. The famous game show is one of the longest-running in American television’s history with over 40 years of shows aired.

The game is popular for its big-time prizes, including cash, cars, and even luxury vacations.

A brand-new interactive theatrical experience, Wheel of Fortune LIVE! is an on-stage touring version of the iconic game show America has loved for generations.

The touring show aims to give fans a chance to win in person and let them feel like they’re on the televised show. The traveling version of the iconic game show takes place on a live stage, bringing the beloved word puzzles right to fans’ doorsteps at theaters in their hometown.

Participants get the chance to spin a replica of the famous Wheel and solve word puzzles on the board. Both players and audience members have an opportunity to win money and other prizes.

The Wheel of Fortune LIVE! tour will put on more than 60 shows throughout the country between September and December of 2022.

Maricopa game show participants can audition same-day

Arizona residents who want to participate in the touring show can audition on the same day that the show will take place.

Auditioning guests will be shown a sample puzzle and if they solve it correctly, they’ll be in the pool of possible contestants for that day’s show. Contestants are chosen randomly among the pool of those who solved the sample puzzle.

Audience members for the show are also selected randomly among those who register to attend the show. Show times, ticket pricing, and availability can be viewed on the Wheel of Fortune LIVE! website.

Celebrities and media personalities host the traveling game show

While Pat Sajak and Vanna White will not be hosting the touring version of the game show, Wheel of Fortune LIVE! has some celebrity hosts.

Joining the traveling production as alternating hosts are longtime PBS Antique Roadshow host, Mark L. Walberg, and American Idol finalist, Clay Aiken.

Clay Aiken is scheduled to be the host of the shows taking place in Arizona this fall. This includes the Nov. 3 Tucson Music Hall show as well as both shows at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino.

In addition to the celebrity hosts, actress Kalpana Pot serves as the show’s co-host, and Dave Styles, the LA Dodgers stadium host will serve as the show’s announcer.

Prizes include cash and luxury vacations

Wheel of Fortune LIVE! gives contestants the chance to win some big prizes. A $10,000 cash prize is among the top winnings, as well as trips to Hawaii, Paris, and other vacation destinations.

Audience members even have a chance to win cash and other prizes at each show and will be selected at random as winners.
