Arizona’s newest retail sportsbook has arrived.
Hard Rock Sportsbook has opened at Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort. The official grand opening ceremony is at 2 p.m. July 8, headlined by baseball star Luis Gonzalez. Gonzalez played 19 seasons in the MLB across seven teams, most notably as a left fielder for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The ceremony includes a ribbon cutting, giveaways and various prizes, including sports memorabilia, a TV and bonus bets.
Hard Rock Sportsbook boasts 2 betting windows and 8 kiosks
There are 17 Arizona online sportsbooks and the same number of retail sportsbooks. The Hard Rock Sportsbook is the first retail operator in Flagstaff.
The sportsbook is a joint venture between the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise and Hard Rock Digital, said Brian Parrish, CEO for Navajo Gaming.
“We are very pleased to take this next step forward in our partnership with the Hard Rock Sportsbook team. Our two organizations continue to work seamlessly together in pursuit of NNGE being able to offer our guests outstanding products, values, services and experiences with event wagering. We have a long-term relationship that’s evolving and getting stronger every day. Please join us for the grand opening.”
Marlon Goldstein, CEO of Hard Rock Digital, echoed those comments.
“We’re excited to introduce our retail sports betting experience in Arizona and celebrate the grand opening of Hard Rock Sportsbook at Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort. Navajo Gaming has been an incredible partner, and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow our relationship.”
The sportsbook at Twin Arrows is next to the remodeled sports bar and restaurant on the property. It has eight betting kiosks and two betting windows.
The opening follows last year’s launch of the Hard Rock online sportsbook in Arizona. The app serves as the foundation for the retail betting experience, too, as it ties in to the Hard Rock’s kiosks at Twin Arrows. Bettors can place various wagers at the location or online, including:
- Pre-game
- In-game (live bets)
- Futures
- Same game parlays
- Head-to-heads
- Play-by-play
The sportsbook is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It’s closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The sportsbook bar, however, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day.
