SportsBetting.com promo code AZ 2024

Once you create your account and make a deposit, you are eligible for SportsBetting.com to match that first deposit dollar for dollar up to $1,000. The bonus will arrive in your account within 72 hours as bonus bet credits.

SportsBetting.com AZ welcome bonus — the fine print!

What SportsBetting.com’s welcome bonus lacks in size, it more than makes up for in overall value and simplicity. Once you’ve made your first deposit, the site will match it at a rate of 100% up to $1,000, with the bonus funds arriving in your account as bonus bet credits.

How do bonus bet credits work?

The bonus bet credits will be available for you to wager as soon as they hit your account. They will expire seven days after that, however, so if you don’t use them in one week, they’ll be gone for good.

What’s the playthrough requirement?

At SportsBetting.com you must play through your deposit and bonus one time before being able to withdraw it. That means if you deposit $150, you would need to bet at least $300 to unlock any winnings from your bonus bet credits.

While most bets will count toward the playthrough requirement, bonus betting will not. In this case, that means betting on both sides of a line. As long as you don’t wager in that fashion, your bets will count toward the requirement.

How does this welcome bonus compare?

This is a quality bonus from SportsBetting.com. You definitely will see sportsbooks with larger deposit matches, but playthrough requirements for those bonuses can be up to 25x. They may also have more restrictions on the bets that qualify.

So, all things considered, this offer is one of the better welcome bonuses you will find in the Grand Canyon State.

Getting started at SportsBetting.com in Arizona

Signing up with SportsBetting.com takes just a few minutes using a computer, tablet or smartphone. Start by heading to the sportsbook website and selecting “Join Now.” You will need to provide the following information:

  • Email address
  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Home address
  • Last four digits of your Social Security number
  • Phone number

You also must create a password, and the last step is checking a box to confirm you’re at least 21. Once you hit “Agree & Continue” you’ll be all signed up with SportsBetting.com.

Can I trust SportsBetting.com?

Yes, SportsBetting.com is a trustworthy online sportsbook. It sometimes can be difficult to know which sportsbooks are legit, but really all you need to do is check if a book has received a license from the Arizona Department of Gaming. And yes, SportsBetting.com is licensed in Arizona, as well as being licensed and available in Colorado.

Arizona sports betting laws

For its operation in Arizona, SportsBetting.com must adhere to state-specific rules and regulations. These are the three most important rules you should be aware of:

  1. You have to be 21 or older to wager on sports in Arizona. SportsBetting.com will verify your details when you sign up.
  2. You must be inside state lines when you place a bet. Each online sportsbook will confirm your location using geolocation technology when you use it.
  3. While the state allows betting on Arizona-based college teams, it does not allow college prop bets. This ban includes both Arizona and non-Arizona prop bets.

How do I download the SportsBetting.com AZ app?

SportsBetting.com has an iOS and Android app. However, right now it is only available for smartphones, not for tablets. To get the app, head to SportsBetting.com’s app download page. Then, depending on your device, select either “Download on the App Store” or “Available for Android.”

From there, the process is straightforward for getting the Apple app. For the Android app, choose “Download APK.” A message will appear that reads “This type of file can harm your device. Do you want to keep sportsbetting.apk anyway?” The file is safe, so select “OK.” Then open the file and hit “Install” to get the app on your smartphone.

Finally, if you do not have the GeoGuard app on your smartphone, you will then proceed to Step 3. Select “Install GeoGuard” and choose “Always allow” for location permissions and “Allow” for notification permissions. If you do not have GeoGuard, you will not be able to bet using your smartphone.

Why should I choose the SportsBetting.com app?

With so many options to choose from in Arizona, it’s important to know about the best features each sportsbook has to offer and how they benefit you as a user.

  • 24/7 customer support: Getting help around the clock is so important in any business, but especially at an online sportsbook. With betting options available just about 24 hours a day it’s good to have help available whenever you might need it.
  • Large odds boosts: Most sportsbooks offer daily odds boosts. SportsBetting.com, however, has some of the bigger boosts that we’ve seen. Most of the increases are at least 15% to 20%, and for some long shots we’ve even seen odds go up by almost 30%. The only downside is that most of the odds boosts are for longer odds bets. You don’t see many increases for fairly even wagers.
  • Plenty of sports to bet on: At SportsBetting.com you can wager on all the top leagues and competitions such as the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, UFC, MLS, WNBA and PGA Tour, along with having a variety of bets to choose from.

What won’t I like about the SportsBetting.com app?

Not everything that SportsBetting.com has to offer is perfect, though. Here are some areas where it could stand to improve:

  • Misleading promos: We already touched on this in the promotions section, but it bears repeating. Some of the promos at SportsBetting.com are borderline deceptive in our opinion. The main portion of these deals tells you how much you have to bet on an event and what you stand to receive. But then when you read the terms and conditions, you discover that you only receive the reward if your initial bet loses.
  • Lack of apps for tablets: It also is disappointing that SportsBetting.com does not have an app that works for tablets. You still can use the website on your tablet, but having a dedicated app would be better.
  • No loyalty benefits: We would like to see either a promotion where you receive bet credits based on how much money you wager each month or a loyalty club where you receive points for each bet you place. At the moment, SportsBetting.com has nothing of the sort.

Where do I find SportsBetting.com promotions?

You can find all the current promotions at SportsBetting.com by clicking the promotions header. On the website, it’s at the top left side of the screen. If you’re on the app you’ll click the three bars in the upper left corner to open the menu and then choose “Promotions.” Once you have done that, you can skim through each bonus offer and click “More info” to find out how each promotion works.

Does SportsBetting.com have parlay promos?

Yes, SportsBetting.com has a bonus for all your parlays of between four and seven legs. Create a parlay for at least $5 with each leg having odds of -200 or longer. If it wins, you get a bonus bet credit based on a percentage of your winnings. The maximum bonus bet is $1,000.

  • Four legs = 25% of your winnings
  • Five legs = 50%
  • Six legs = 75%
  • Seven legs = 100%

Do you have to opt in to promotions at SportsBetting.com?

No. All you have to do is follow the instructions for each bonus offer and you’ll be all set. However, we strongly advise you to do more than just read the instructions. That’s because they can be misleading and incomplete. Take this MLB promotion, for example. There are three steps in big letters at the top of the promo:

  1. Place a bet of $20 or more on the match winner market.
  2. We’ll bonus you $20 for every home run your team hits.
  3. Only on preselected baseball games.

Below you’ll see a list of the games available for the promotion, so it sounds simple enough, right? Not quite. When you scroll down and read the terms and conditions, you find this little detail, which is really anything but “… if your bet loses, we’ll bonus you $20 for every home run your team hits.” That’s right, you only receive the bonus if your team loses the game. Might have been nice to mention that up top.

Be sure to check the terms and conditions so you don’t end up placing a bet without knowing the full details of the promotion.

What kind of bets can I place at SportsBetting.com?

You can bet on spreads, moneylines and totals at SportsBetting.com along with prop bets for most games, futures bets, and round robins and parlay betting. Here is what you’ll see for an individual game listing, followed by an explanation of the bets you can place.

SpreadMoneylineTotals
Utah Jazz+5.5 (-111)+180Over 223.5 (-111)
Phoenix Suns-5.5 (-109)-222Under 223.5 (-109)

The difference between spread and moneyline bets

For moneyline bets, all that matters is who wins. For spread bets, it matters how much your team wins or loses by. In the example above, the Suns are favored by 5.5 points, so to cover the spread they’ll need to win by six points or more. Meanwhile, spread bets on Utah will win if the Jazz lose by five points or fewer, or if they win the game.

That brings us to the sportsbook odds, which are the numbers in the moneyline column and in parentheses for the spread bets. The odds tell you how much money you’ll make if your bet wins. Positive odds carry a higher potential profit than negative odds. For example, a winning $100 wager on the Jazz at +180 would win you $180. A winning $222 wager on the Suns at -222 would result in a $100 profit for you.

How to bet on the total

In this example, you would choose “O 223.5” if you think the Jazz and Suns will combine to score over 223.5 points in the game. You would choose “U 223.5” if you think they will score fewer than that.

Prop bets

Prop bets are wagers on whether certain events will or won’t happen during a game. For a Suns game, for example, you could wager on how many points Devin Booker will have. SportsBetting.com will supply a number, say 29.5, and you bet whether you think Booker will score over or under that total.

Futures bets

Choose the “Futures” link on any league page at SportsBetting.com to see all of your available futures options. These are long-term wagers, such as betting on a team to win its league or on a player to win his league’s MVP award, for example.

How to build parlays and round robins

These are the two types of combo wagers you can build at SportsBetting.com. For parlays, you’ll see your odds climb with each additional bet you add. The downside of adding more wagers, though, is that you only win a parlay if you get each individual pick correct.

Round robins don’t require you to be perfect to make a profit. For these wagers, you’ll have different options based on how many bets you place. The sportsbook will group your bets together in such a way that you can miss one and still win some money.

Live wagering at SportsBetting.com

When you click on the “Live” header at SportsBetting.com, you’ll see your live betting options. These allow you to bet on games as they unfold. You could use this to take advantage of a slow start by your team and cash in if it rallies to win, for example.

Just like with pregame betting, you’ll see your betting options by clicking on individual contests. Unlike pregame betting, though, the odds can change rapidly with live betting. For that reason you’ll want to get your wagers in quickly if you see a line that you like.

Can I bet on the Cardinals at SportsBetting.com?

Yes. You can bet on the Arizona Cardinals and all other NFL games at SportsBetting.com. All of the wagers from above will be available, in addition to some football-specific bets.

  • Double results: You are wagering on two things: which team will lead at halftime and which team will win the game. You have to get both right in order to win.
  • Touchdowns: Bet on the player you think will score the first touchdown or the last touchdown. Or just bet on a player to score a touchdown at any point in a game. A fun parlay is to pick players to score touchdowns in a handful of NFL games. If you end up getting your touchdown parlay right, you can win quite a bit of money.
  • Player stats over/unders: These bets are usually as simple as something like Kyler Murray passing yards: over/under 237.5. There will be wagers for passing, rushing and receiving yards at a minimum.
  • Race to X: com will have various numbers (10, 20, 30, etc.), and you are betting on which team will reach that point total first. You’ll have the option of choosing Team A, Team B or neither.

On top of the Suns and Cardinals, you’ll also be able to wager on the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Coyotes and the state’s top college teams, including the Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils.

How do I get money on (and off!) SportsBetting.com quickly?

Depositing and withdrawing money from sportsbooks is one of the most important things to consider when signing up. If there are no options that work for you, you might want to reconsider registering there. Here is how you can deposit and cash out at SportsBetting.com:

If SportsBetting.com were to open a retail sportsbook in Arizona (as it has in Colorado), you could make transactions from that location. It has not announced any such plans yet, though.

How do I get help at SportsBetting.com?

To get help at SportsBetting.com, start by clicking on the FAQ page. You will find a number of solutions to some of the most common and basic problems. You also can click the support bubble, and from there you can choose to request a callback, leave a message (basically an email) or live chat with a representative. The live chat feature is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How do I exclude myself from SportsBetting.com?

To exclude yourself from SportsBetting.com you’ll begin by selecting “My Account” and then “Limits & Responsible Gambling.” Next you’ll choose “Self-Exclusion,” which will bring up a number of options.

At the top you can choose to set daily, weekly or monthly wagering limits. Next up you can limit how many hours a day you can be logged into SportsBetting.com. Your third option is to take a break of between one day and six weeks. Lastly, you can choose a self-exclusion period of six months, one to five years or indefinitely.

Can I bet with SportsBetting.com in person?

If SportsBetting.com opens a retail sportsbook in Arizona, you will be able to. Currently, though, it has not announced any plans about whether that will happen.

How does SportsBetting.com compare to other Arizona sportsbooks?

SportsBetting.com may not be one of the top sportsbooks in the Grand Canyon State, but we still believe it can be an option if you plan on having multiple sportsbook accounts. If SportsBetting.com is your secondary account, you can take advantage of the promotions that appeal to you to place wagers there if it has the best odds for your bet.

SportsBetting.com FAQ

SportsBetting.com doesn’t offer quite as many betting options as BetMGM, mainly because at BetMGM Sportsbook you can place single-game parlays, which SportsBetting.com does not offer. Both books do offer a decent number of promotions, though, with SportsBetting.com’s being slightly easier to enter.

There are only three deposit options to choose from: Skrill, credit or debit card (Mastercard or Visa) and Mazooma (which is an online bank transfer). All three methods are equal in speed. To cash out, you can use Skrill and Mazooma, with withdrawal times again being equal.

The lines at SportsBetting.com are very similar to other books in Arizona. However, where SportsBetting.com falls a little short is in a lack of prop bets. For example, for an MLB game you often cannot bet on home run hitters for either team.

The No. 1 difference between the two is that SportsBetting.com does not have an app that works for tablets right now. When it comes to smartphone apps, both sportsbooks are similar, but the PointsBet app is slightly faster and tends to offer more wagers.

You cannot. In order to bet at SportsBetting.com, you need to be in Arizona when you place any bets or cash out any wagers early. Each time you log into either the app or website, it will check your location. If you are outside of Arizona, you won’t be able to bet.

If you have bet credits, you need to make sure you choose the “Use bet credit” option in your bet slip. The option is at the bottom of your slip and shows how many dollars of credits you have. Bonus bet credits expire seven days after the sportsbook issues them and are not refundable. You do not receive the credits back if your bet wins, only the winnings from the wager.
